My husband and I have been watching the "birth" of our newly built house and home for about a year now. It is our first. When we bought it the ground was still untouched. It was an exciting experience for us to watch our house grow week after week. And although we were only able to watch it from the other side of the construction fence that didn't put a damper on our anticipation at all.

As it is when one builds a nest we are collecting and "hamstering" all sorts of neat little things which to decorate our house with storing them away for now. It will feel like Christmas again when we will take them all out and put them up.

End of January is its due date and move-in time will come for us. What a fantastic way to start the new year.After having moved around so much for the past 2 years due to my husband's career we will finally and truly come home. Good things will indeed come to those who wait but sometimes being patient is so tough.
